Year 1 had a wonderful time exploring their local community. They combined learning about road safety with navigating a map, gaining valuable practical skills. While spotting various signs, identifying different types of homes, and noticing other key features of their community not only reinforced their learning but also helped them become more aware of their surroundings. This hands-on experience was a fantastic way to connect classroom knowledge with real-life situations.
