Our last league game and what a competitive game it was. We are so proud of our girls. We arrived with an optimistic attitude following our previous win, warmed up and got used to the pitch size. We had a few rotations in midfield and defence all our girls had a good amount of time on the pitch. After going a goal down the girls kept their heads up and continued to push forward. Just before half time we had a (questionable) disallowed goal, but this just drove the girls even more, as they had seen they could get the ball into the oppositions box. At half time we had a good team talk and discussed being slightly more physical and not shying away from a tackle. Unfortunately, in the second half we conceded another goal and went down to 2-0. The girls continued playing well and worked hard to focus their defensive effort. The game ended 2-0, our girls were able to hold their heads high with another great team effort.
