This morning we all woke up a little later than usual due to all the activities the previous day, we were pretty exhausted but onward and upwards! Again after another hearty breakfast (to keep us going) we had the task of packing our bags and tidying our rooms. After an inspection by all the teachers and Mr S. who was really impressed by our cleanliness, we were ready for the final activity of the visit. These were biking, high ropes and caving. We all tried our best and faced our fears and felt very proud of our achievements (despite the rain).
Feeling rather wet but proud, we all headed to the Arrowhead classroom for our last meal. It was great to have our lunch with Mr S, Mr Smith and Mr CJ especially the flapjack!
After lunch our group had time to reflect on the whole experience, we all felt really proud of our efforts and shared them with each other. This was so easy because we have all achieved so much.
Next was time to leave Laches Wood, although we were all tired, we felt so proud of what we had achieved and how we had represented our school. The teachers are so proud of us and how we have shown maturity, independence and resilience during our time here. We have all matured greatly and cemented our friendships with each other. Although this is our last visit as a class at Edward the Elder, we shall remember this experience for a lifetime.
