Year 6 visited Moreton and enjoyed a broad range of experiences to prepare them for their secondary school transition. They were lucky enough to be part of an energetic PE lesson involving basketball skills, perfected their accents in Spanish, became composers using Garage Band in music and finally decorated their own bookmark in textiles. The children were also treated to a session with Riley the Reading Therapy dog! Four children were chosen to receive a badge for respect and four were chosen for challenging themselves! Super behaviour from all - well done year 6!
Year 6 enjoyed their first session with Headstart where they were taught how to be resilient towards real life scenarios. The children identified qualities needed to be resilient in life. We look forward to what we will learn in our next session!
